Why Be a Donor?

The need for organs and tissues for transplants far outweighs the available supply in Saskatchewan. Thanks to donors, more and more transplant patients are living longer and healthier lives. Become a Living Donor

Organ and/or Tissue Donation

Becoming a registered organ and/or tissue donor can save up to eight lives. Anyone 16 years or older with a valid Saskatchewan health card is eligible to register their intent to become a organ and/or tissue donor after death. Register to be a Donor

Become a Living Organ Donor

Any person 18 years or older who is in good health can apply to be a living organ donor in Saskatchewan.

Become an Organ and/or Tissue Donor

Any person 16 years or older can register their intent to become an organ and/or tissue donor after their death. Registering as an organ and/or tissue donor is the best way to make your decision known to health care providers. The process for registering is completely online.
